the shark-like eyes of the mindless shoppers today..LOL...driven to "feed" on the same old same old sales etc...I'm glad I do my shopping throughout the year...art and craft shows are my favs...even a nice antique is appreciated..I am so sick of electronics....who can keep up? Do you think the blue ray hd dvds will force us to but new equipment...crap I still have vcr's I like to watch...( I hung on to three of my vcr players)...will it never stop???

Mum, I have to agree about Technology, I have a love hate relationship with it.
I have been thinking about getting a MP3 player for road trips, but I have thousands of Cds as well as several thousand vinyl records (including a handfull of 78's from the early 1900's)

So I have all types of antiques that still work (8-tracks, cassettes, turntables and VCR's), And I won't give them up even if I do reach for the new shiny toy of the moment.
